2021 Hyundai Elantra

Over the years, Korean manufacturer Hyundai is becoming increasingly popular for its bold designs. The Hyundai Elantra has also received a brand new look for the year 2021. Angular exteriors and upscale cabins can both be seen on this beautiful sedan. The company provides a couple of powertrain options for the Elantra. In its segment, the vehicle competes against the Japanese trio of Toyota Corolla, Honda City, and Nissan Sentra. More information about the seventh generation Hyundai Elantra will be given below.

Available Trims:

A total of five Elantra trims are available for the year 2021. These are:

  • SEL
  • Limited
  • SE
  • N Line
  • N

N and N Line are two performance-based trim levels that are now available instead of the GT hatchback trims. Along with these, there is also a hybrid variant. As per the media jury for North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year (NACTOY), this vehicle was declared the winner of the 2021 North American Car of the Year. Expect the SEL trim to offer the best value amongst these.

Exterior Beauty:

The 2021 Hyundai Elantra receives a completely new design, with a longer, wider, and lower body than before to lend it a four-door coupe look. LED headlights and LED daytime running lamps have been beautifully integrated together. The front grille makes it like the Sonata, and the lower lip is integrated with it.

Beautiful lines can be seen running towards the front of the hood, with the Hyundai logo in the center. The current Elantra is wider and longer than the previous version, as mentioned before. The SEL trim is available with a 16-inch wheel with the size 205/55. The fender is not black but is body colored instead.

The 2021 Hyundai Elantra gets a lot of character in terms of design, much more than the Civic or Corolla. Color-matched side mirrors are available on the SEL. A high beltline is visible on the side. The boot design at the rear looks very aerodynamic.

Engine Specifications:

The 2021 Hyundai Elantra is fitted with a 2.0 liter, naturally aspirated, inline-4 gasoline engine that develops 147 hp and 132 lbs.-ft of torque. The engine has been mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and takes the vehicle from 0-60 mph in 7.8 seconds. It is also very fuel efficient, delivering 41 mpg on the highway.

The N-Line gets a 1.6 liter turbo inline-4 with 201 hp of power and 195 lbs.-ft of torque. Two transmission options are available here- 6-speed manual and 7-speed automatic.

Interior Appearance:

A variety of standard features such as an additional USB port, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, and HD Radio are available for 2021. Interior quality of this vehicle is most impressive, but there are a lot of hard plastics all around.
